Saturday, May 22, 9 a.m.-Noon, Downtown Winona

Fire trucks, semi trailers, street sweepers, oh my!

Back after a hiatus in 2020, Parade of Trucks is a fun and unique twist on Touch-A-Truck (one of the Main Street Program's staple annual fundraising events).

Taking place in the heart of our downtown on Saturday, May 22 from 9 a.m.-Noon, Parade of Trucks will offer parents and children alike the opportunity to see and interact with a number of cool vehicles. We hope to see all your friendly, smiling faces for the event this year... it's going to be a blast!

The event this year will take place in three phases:

Phase 1 will be the first viewing period from 9 -10 a.m. along Cal Fremling Parkway between LEvee Park and the Mississippi River. People will be able to view the vehicles during this time and interact with people driving them.

Phase 2 will be the parade procession from 10-10:30 a.m., where vehicles will proceed west down Cal Fremling Parkway to Johnson Street, and then turn left and drive down 3rd Street. All while honking their horns and sounding their sirens.

Phase 3 will be the second viewing period from 10:30-Noon along 3rd Street between Center and Franklin. People will be able to view the vehicles during this time and interact with the people driving them.

Thank you to our two event sponsors, Allstate Peterbilt and Winona Health Main Square Clinic, for helping make this event possible!

Another thank you to our Civil Service Vehicle sponsors for showing support for things like the Police, Fire, Ambulance, various other city departments and municipalities.
