A community is only as strong as its core. Many people had given up hope about the commercial and cultural viability of our downtown when big box retailers moved in. However, over the past few years, the Winona Main Street Program has proven that our downtown is the heart of our community and a community is only as strong as its core.

The Winona Main Street Program is nationally accredited, the program is focused on the revitalization of downtown Winona. Since its inception in 2013, the program has supported business growth, development, events, and residential life in downtown.
