Main street presents

streets & Treats

If you're looking for something to do for Halloween this year, the Winona Main Street Program has you covered! The inaugural Streets & Treats event has plenty for the kiddos to enjoy on the spookiest day of the year:

Chalk Walk Scavenger Hunt from 2-6 p.m.: Kids will have to find 12 chalk characters throughout downtown (North sidewalk of 2nd St. to South sidewalk of 4th St., and East sidewalk of Main St. to West sidewalk of Walnut St.). Once they've found all 12 they return their card to the Main Street tent in Merchants Bank parking lot and receive a FREE bag of assorted candy.

Halloween Window Walk: Don't forget to stop by and look at all the businesses participating in the Halloween Window Walk this year! You can find participating businesses and vote for your favorite at here.

Halloweenona from 2-6 p.m.: Halloweenona is back this year providing a spooky graveyard in the empty lot next to Blooming Grounds, a spooky puppet show, and some spooky graveyard music.

Trunk or Treat at The EDGE Community Church from 4-6 p.m.: Stop by The EGDE to get some MORE CANDY and assorted Halloween goodies.

Teamsters 120 Food Drive at Jovy Rockey Jewelry: Teamsters 120 will be giving out 1100 boxes of perishable food items. If you're in need and looking to stock up on some food items, look for them on the corner of 3rd and Lafayette.

Leighton Broadcasting will be broadcasting the even live outside of The EDGE Community Church and playing music. Stop by if you're looking to jam and dance for a bit!

A special thank you to our presenting sponsor Merchant's Bank. Streets & Treats was also made possible in part by a grant for Artists on Main Street, with support from RETHOS, Springboard for the Arts, and funding from The Bush Foundation.
